What We Believe
The Bible is the inspired, infallible,
authoritative Word of God.
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe.
He eternally exists as three persons: Father, Son & Holy Spirit, yet
He is one God.
Humans were created in God's image but
have been separated from Him because of sin.
Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son,
came to earth in the flesh. He knew no sin, but took our place on the
cross.
Acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord &
Savior of our life is the only way for man to be reconciled to God.(Salvation)
Believers should be baptized in the Holy
Spirit, speak in other tongues and experience the gifts of the Holy Spirit
in their lives.
Water Baptism is an outward profession
of a person's inward commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior.
Communion, the taking of the bread and
wine (or juice) is received in remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice for us.
God answers prayer and cares about every
aspect of our lives. We should take time to commune with Him daily in
prayer and study of His Word to know His will for our life.
It is God's will that all true believers
prosper in all areas of their lives. God still heals and works miracles
today.
Holiness is a way of life, not a religion.
The Christian lifestyle should uphold the standards set by God's Word
(Bible).
Marriage is a provision of God whereby
a man and a woman enter into a lifelong relationship by a marriage ceremony
that is recognized by the church and legally sanctioned by the state.
Church attendance & involvement is
necessary for developing a well-rounded Christian life.
Tithing (giving one-tenth of your gross
income to God) should be a part of every Christian's life. Tithing is
therefore an act of obedience and gratefulness.
Every true believer is compelled by the
Great Commission to share Jesus Christ with others!
Jesus Christ will return to the earth,
and believers will reign together with Him!
